Benefits to sitting in the front row

This is more of an opportunity to brag…

At Greenbuild 2008, I planted myself in the front row for the announcement regarding the new LEED Credentialing Program for 2009.  For obvious reasons, I was most interested to hear what they had to say, and I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss a word of it.  The auditorium (which was really half the ballroom) filled up, but the seat on one side of me remained open.  About five minutes before the announcement started, Rick Fedrizzi came out of the back room, sat down next to me and introduced himself.

How cool is that?

(For those of you that don’t know, Rick Fedrizzi is the President of the USGBC.)
